Branding waste into value
Axjo is a Swedish polymer company founded in 1945. Early on, the company recognized the potential of plastic in packaging, and today, Axjo is a global leader in smart plastic solutions for drums, spools, and reels. As the group expanded through acquisitions, each company developed its own visual identity – resulting in a fragmented and inconsistent brand expression.



This rapid growth challenged the integrity of the graphic profile, making it difficult to communicate Axjo’s collective strength, innovative edge, and deep commitment to sustainability—especially its pioneering work in recycled plastic manufacturing.

To address this, Axjo has unified all brands under a single, cohesive identity: Axjo. In close collaboration with Axjo’s brand team, Momentum developed a modern, future-proof visual identity that reflects the company’s role as an industry innovator. By retaining the original Axjo logo and refreshing the surrounding design system, the new identity clearly communicates Axjo’s mission: transforming plastic waste into smart, sustainable packaging solutions.
